The Center supports documentation and understanding of folk traditions, practices, and activities. Heritage crafts and trades are cultural resources as much as structures and archaeological sites. Because folk traditions may not leave direct physical evidence, living history interpretation and ethnography can preserve these important aspects of the human story.
