The Center’s Traditional Textile Production Project includes:
- Living history presentations and interpretations to school groups and members of the public;
- Experiential and experimental anthropological research on traditional fiber processing and textile production using traditional dyes and original or replica tools and implements; and
- Documentation of traditional practices related to baskets, cordage, fabric, fiber processing, and dye preparation through fieldwork and museum studies.
Research results will be posted or shared with the public through demonstrations and on the CRITCA website under this heading.
